Au Bon Prix Supermarché
In 2005, My father have plan to upgrade and rebuild the family business from a convenience store to a supermarket.
In September 6, 2009, we unveil new the store with a new building in a new address. The store was a hit, with the presence of all the local news and the notable people of the town. The city of Les Cayes is the third city of Haiti where business people have a reputation of being traditional. This project was aimed at changing the perception of the city, by building one of the prettiest and modern store in the town. We introduced the first UPS bar-code scanner in the city and the state. We introduced the first mechanical counter, meat displays and metallic shelves.

- I created the store logo and tagline and print the invitation letters. The tagline was " Le Temps D'achetez mieux" which means "its time to buy better". In my country, because of lack of competitions, customers do not enjoy a lot of bargaining power. They buy what they find and support any bad customers services. I wanted to position the brand as a place where the customers was treated as a tourist.
- I programmed the points of sales and create the departments names. I installed 8 security cameras.
- I plan the store layout. Wines and other liquors where put in the right aisle and near the entrance to give a upscale look to the store and to drive traffic. I also made the brand carry the largest range of local products in the town to support to local farmers and entrepreneurs
- I create a Facebook page for the brands to attract the 18-25 and 25-35 segments. In two months, The page attracted 800 fans and currently have about 2000 fans. There is about 60,000 Internets users in my state.
- I created an electronic online store and launched it during the Haitian international friendly soccer match with Italy and I receive significant traffic, as a result.
- I help launch and develop a private label for the meat departments. I orders all the meats equipments and design the labels
In the family business, I learn about entrepreneurship, retail marketing, public relation, email marketing, online marketing, customers services and product development.
