The project
I was part of team of 4 students that were responsible to write a marketing plan for WSU libraries.
The Problem
The client wanted to increased awareness and usage of the library online database and to re-position the library as the main source of information on campus.
The solution
Our research suggest that the community like the library but did not know the services the library offer beside books. The users also see the library as a place to drink coffee and to study. Insight from successful libraries, videos from library specialists, observations of users and data from academic journals suggest that the library could be position as a place people could find information they can trust.
The Campaign
The campaign theme was " your search start here". The theme was quote by our marketing professor during the client meeting. Your search start here, at the library, not on the popular search engines.
Keys learning
While working with the library, I learn how to create a marketing plan under a budget. I also learn about psycho-graphic and behavioral segmentation, advertisement appeals , advertisement executions styles and media planning.
